Doddled this little piccy of my new hybrid Eunaa-Kim (and his little charge) durring my "political science" class. Then when I got home I inked it up in photoshop real quick.


Bedtime

They were getting ready for bedtime. Eunaa-kim finished tying Ruby’s fine cinnamon hair into two loose pigtails, just as her father, the young Duke of Nellark, walked into the room carrying a pale-colored bundle in his hands. Little Ruby squeezed the end of Kim’s fluffy tail. She offered a shy smile to her father, but she didn’t get off the bed or greet him otherwise.

Kim stroked a slender hand over the top of Ruby’s hair to make sure the pale blue ribbons were secure. Then he carefully extracted his tail from the little girl’s grasp. He climbed off the bed and scampered over to the tall young man, offering the Duke a small bow and a cheerful smile. “Good Evening, Papa”

The young Duke flushed at the overly familiar address. He pushed a hand thru his short dark hair and glared at Kim to cover up his embarrassment. He didn’t know why the little hybrid insisted on addressing him that way, when not even his own daughter called him anything less than Father. “I told you not to call me that.”

Kim’s smile never wavered. “Have you come to give the little Princess a kiss goodnight?”

The Duke ignored the question. He unwrapped the bundle of cloth in his hands, which turned out to be one of his nightshirts, and held it out to Kim. “Here. Put this on.”

Kim just stared at it for a moment. Then he looked back up at the man, confused. “Why?”

“Because,” The Duke’s glare increased. “I am not going to allow you to run around here dressed like THAT.” The hybrid was wearing only a short embroidered loincloth and a pale sash tied low around his hips.

“What’s wrong with the way I am dressed?” Kim looked down at his attire with confusion.

The Duke scoffed. “I’m sure that nothing is wrong with such clothes in a slave house, but as long as you are staying here, in my home, we will have to find you something more….appropriate to wear. Now raise your arms.”

Kim did what he was told and Duke pulled the nightshirt down over his head. It was far too big on the hybrid’s tiny frame. The long arms of the shirt covered his hands and the bottom hem would have fallen well past his knees except it got bunched up around his large fluffy tail.

“I’ll call in the tailors tomorrow to come make you some more appropriate outfits. But for now wear that.”

Ruby slowly climbed down off her bed and came to stand beside Kim. She grabbed a fistful of the nightshirt and tugged at it. Her eyelids where drooping. She was so tired that she could barely keep her balance, but apparently she still wouldn’t go to sleep without Kim.

The hybrid looked down and wrapped his tail around her. “Ah. Bedtime?” He asked.

She nodded drowsily, sucking on her fingertip.

The Duke turned to leave. He had almost made it out the door before Kim called out to him again. He looked back.

The little mink was posed cutely, with his covered hands and his feet rubbing together. With upturned eyes and a playful expression he said, “You forgot our kiss!”

The Duke turned and fled the room without giving a reply.
