School Project - Character Development Exercise
I had to design two characters (a human and a creature) that belonged to the same enviroment/world. Then I had to draw one full concept image with color and anylse the characters and give full character descriptions and how they relate to one another.

This character comes from the same world as a couple of my other OCs, Arcayn. And is one of the characters who meets up with Ashide & Sidari [ [link] [link] [link] [link] ] in their journey.

Information:
Race: Warud (Aquatic species)
Tribe: The Sisterhood of the Strise
Species Attributes: Clear eyelids, Gills, Slender forms.
Defenses Mechanisms: *Skin secreates a paralysing toxin when angered or frightened.
*uses ultra sonic waves underwater to locate food/targets

Culture: The Warud are an aquatice race. They live near lakes, rivers, or oceans aren't able to live easily inland. They are most comfortable in wet, damp enviroments and are only able to survive in dryer enviroments if they drink large amounts of water. The males and females of the species live seperately, since they tend not to get along well together. Yearly, a designated lake is chosen where the females will lay their eggs. Then the males will later fertilize them. When they are born, the young are basically all instinct and unable to walk on land. They will spend the first year in the lake, the strong devouring the weak. When they are about a year or so old, after they've begun to develop the ability to walk on land and higher brain functions, they instinctively seek out whichever side of the clan that they belong too (the male or female side). They are followers of the Sea Goddess, Luma.

Bio: Olithriel is the current reigning "Mother" of the "Sisterhood" , the female side, of the Strise clan. She was the one who arranged the attack on Moses' village in order to take human slaves. Moses was her own personal slave, before he was liberated. She is determined to destroy the rebellion against her human enslavement.
Olithriel was hand choosen by the last "Mother" of her tribe to succeed the thrown and is very proud of her position and all that she has done to achieve it. She does not tolerate opposition to her reign, and is ruthless in her ambitions. She's more than willing to kill anybody who gets in her way.

Very, very, nice. I love her design. I love how the different colours are part of her skin. I'm also intrigued by her story line, for I will never make a story as good as yours. Kep up the good work. I'll be seeing more from you!
