*sigh* I really should work on some of my projects instead of these little pictures.

This one is based of an old sketch of one of my older OC couples, that I used to play around with. The blonde's name is Nanao, and the brunette's name is Ardeth.

From what I remember about these two... Nanao used to be a "rent-boy" and a hustler in the gay district of Tokyo (can't remember what it's called right now. >.> ) when he was younger. He doesn't know his parents. He got taken in by a rich kid (I think his name was Hisoka) who's parents had died recently, and he had inherited the estate. Nanao started attending high school after that.

Nanao has a thing for foreign men. So when Ardeth transfered into his class, Nanao was quick in trying to seduce him. ^^ Ardeth had no problem with this whatsoever, lol.

The story went thru the random problems that their relationship when thru, including Nanao's commitment problems, cultural differences, and Nanao's confusion between his relationship with Ardeth and his dedication to his "brother" Hisoka who had taken him in when he had nothing (Hisoka has bad health, so Nanao was often torn between spending time with Ardeth and watching out for his brother) .

You might see these two again if I decide to redraw another one of my old skethes of them. Nanao didn't change much, but Ardeth went thru some drastic changes during the process. It's interesting to see just how BAD I was at anatomy and proportions a few years ago. lol

The coloring for this was basicly a process of just doing whatever I felt like as I went along. There was no plan as far as coloring went. So afterwards I looked at the pic.......and Ardeth is just so.....brown. O.o That was so not intentional.........
